This it the house of Rav and Menjna, a lovely couple from London.
Almost in 98% of the projects there are some pitfalls hat were not indicated in the project drawings but surface in the process.
As a part of our agreement we discus this kind of situation and solve them all, we always bringing the job to a successful completion no matter what situation can arise/
In this project were 2 pitfalls :
The pitfall nr 1 – swampy land
The difficulty with the foundation, when the counselor inspected the house he said that the land was not of good quality for extension it was too swampy.
Foundation we proposed to the inspector, was an armature metal speakers foundation and the project was magically accepted.
This type of foundation is used in the construction of high-rise buildings, and is more popular in eastern Europe.
The client was very happy that the project did not stop and we could finish it on time.
The pitfall nr 2 – roof modification restrictions
Another underwater stone was with the kitchen fan that was just under the roof window and next to the metal beam. It was impossible to install a classical fan extractor because of the restrictions to modify the roof based on project permisions, and the solution we used was through the floor and then up to the outside wall.
This high-tech solution the fan leaving the countertop has become the highlight of the kitchen table.
Due to the ability of the client to take fast decisions and to make payments on time we could finish the job earlier that it usually takes, and it saved us about a month of possible delay.
We are very thankful to Rav and Manjna, they are an amazing family and fantastic clients.
We are very happy when our clients are happy.
